Wilnsdorf, Siegerland
26. Juli – 1. August
Originally scheduled for Germany in 2020 but cancelled, this year’s event is particularly special. After 5 years, finally the Rally in Germany is happening and it takes place in Wilnsdorf – Siegerland.
The WIMA Austria Ladies start the planning in February as always, someone prefers to sleep in the rooms, someone else will never ride without her tent. Some of us will start riding many days before…. Others will be a bit faster, but we will all enjoy the (wet) journey to Wilnsdort. The excitement, the anticipation and the preparation, are all essential pieces of the Rally.

The essence of every WIMA Rally lies in reconnecting with old friends, forging new bonds, sharing experiences and stories, and riding together. This year’s event, like its predecessors, also boasts a packed program of thrilling activities.
We are off to a good start on Monday with a Welcome drink and Dinner and we also get to have a test run of the Disco, it doesn’t get better than that.
Tuesday starts with healthy run and yoga and develops with activities like workshops, BBQ and a heartwarming Campfire Sing Along. We also need to build our team for the Rally Quiz on Wednesday. We’ll get more points if we have more nationalities on the same team, so let’s start the successful hunt for foreign passport holders.

On Wednesday we are ready to solve puzzles, ride across the best roads of the Siegerland area and compete for the best team result. For the occasion, a new WIMA branch has been created: WIMA Vaticano! Gathering members from Austria, Germany and Romania.
Thursday comes too soon and it’s packed with excitement. The parade takes us to the historical Burg Hainchen – Wasserburg where we are offered refreshments and guided tours by one of the volunteers.

But Thursday is also the day of the Trash Night! And where there’s Trash Night, WIMA Austria is in Pole Position! With an exhilarating version of the German Fairy Tale Cinderella, we manage to make our 300+ women audience laugh to tears, making all the long hours of preparation worthwhile.
Friday is a bittersweet day as the group photo and next year’s Rally briefing mark the approaching end of the week. However, the mood brightens with Sheonagh’s presentation of the recently completed book, “WIMA History from 1950 to the present day.” This magnificent collection of documents, photos, and inspiring stories celebrates the 75th Anniversary of the Women’s International Motorcycle Association and reminds us of the incredible legacy we are privileged to continue.

Each Rally creates bonds that are truly special and unique. The smiles and laughter shared will undoubtedly touch your heart and remain cherished memories. As we pack our bags for home, a mix of nostalgia and melancholy accompanies our clothes and raingear.
Next up: Estonia!
Who knows if we will find some good Espresso Macchiato ☕ like the Estonian song promises.
