Egoist (ic?)

The great thing about a WIMA Rally is that you make new friends and do things together. It is quite normal for our 16 participants to get lost in the crowd and go on small tours or leisure programs.

Today we made our way to the reservoir near Embrun in two different ways, including swimming and sunbathing, but also on small paths to the Col de Bonette and Col du Mutiers.

There were also participants who took part in the Road Safety program in the marquee, alternating with a visit to the local distillery – you name it!
There’s actually something for everyone, and even if there isn’t and you’re selfish on the road, each WIMA can do its own program. There are enough crazy people around to make spontaneous activities possible.
The only thing that is fixed is breakfast and the evening program (including dinner), but in between we have plenty of free time.

Later in the afternoon there is the presidents’ meeting, where current events and actions are discussed and future actions are planned and agreed. Despite sometimes emotional discussions, there is finally a consensus on the important things that move WIMA International forward.

The disco is once again well attended, and after the dancing has worked up a sweat, it’s time for a late shower. By 2:30 a.m., almost everyone is already in bed, in their sleeping bags, etc.

The weather is hot and sunny, with a few small showers here and there.
